Invention Education Program Manager, Jacobson Institute

Kelsi Harms originally joined the team in 2016, supporting the wide range of programs aimed at advancing innovation and entrepreneurship education. After three years with the Institute, she stepped into industry roles in marketing, events, and sales, gaining valuable experience and perspective she could bring back to the University.

In 2025, Kelsi rejoined the Jacobson Institute with a new focus on invention education, leading efforts for the Iowa Invention Convention—a statewide program designed to engage K–12 students across Iowa in the world of invention and innovation.

Kelsi is excited to help the Institute continue to grow and is passionate about using her industry experience to inspire K–12 students through invention, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
