Sprint to Invent Professional Development

This Sprint to Invent professional development training is for you regardless of where you're at in your invention teaching journey. We're here to support you whether you're just getting started and curious to explore what invention education is all about, currently teaching some innovation and entrepreneurship but want to provide more opportunity to your students, or all-in on having students participate in Iowa Invention Convention and looking to explore more.
 

What to expect

  • Interactive, hands-on learning to help you seamlessly integrate invention into your teaching
  • Free, ready-to-use curriculum to jumpstart your students’ invention journeys
  • Tools and strategies to guide students toward participation in the Iowa Invention Convention
  • Real-time collaboration with fellow educators who are implementing the program

Participants who register must be high school educators using the BizInnovator Startup curriculum.

In-Person: Sprint to Invent

Opportunity to earn graduate credit

Choose to earn up to two graduate credit hours from the University of Iowa—at a discounted rate of $149 per credit. Participants who opt to earn graduate credits will work with our instructor to complete additional work outside of Sprint to Invent Professional Development.
