BizInnovator Startup Certified Instructors: Please complete the proficiency exam scheduling form below. Our preference is that you schedule your proficiency exam one week in advance of the exam time. If you are scheduling your proficiency exam with less than one week notice, please contact jacobson-institute@uiowa.edu to let us know. Once the proficiency exam is scheduled, you will receive information to forward to your students so that they are able to "enroll" and take the online proficiency exam via the University of Iowa's Canvas platform.  The proficiency exam is one hour and will be open only during the time you schedule.

Note: The sooner you can have your students enroll in the proficiency exam, the better. It is not advised that students enroll directly before the exam, as they will need time to get enrolled, verify their identity on Canvas, and potentially troubleshoot any school email filters that may be in place.

Please contact jacobson-institute@uiowa.edu if you have questions, concerns or special circumstances.

To offer the online exam and University of Iowa college credit to high school students, educators must complete the BizInnovator certification training AND have an active BizInnovator Startup license for the current school year. Please complete and submit the following form to request an online BizInnovator Startup exam for your students. Your request should be submitted at least one week prior to the test date.

Note: You can schedule more than one exam at a time.  If you are planning on administering multiple exams, you can use this webform to schedule more than one. If you are administering only one exam, please ignore the extra exam options.
