Kirkwood Regional Center at the University of Iowa, July 20-24, 2020 (Moved online due to COVID-19)

STEM Innovator® hosts an onsite professional development opportunity for state of Iowa teachers who apply and are accepted as scale-up recipients. If accepted, educators receive an award providing online and onsite professional development, access to an online curriculum toolkit, $975 stipend upon completion of their STEM Innovator® certification, up to five graduate credits for $149/credit, and more.

STEM Innovator® was named an Iowa Governor's STEM scale-up program for the 2020-2021 academic year.

STEM Innovator® assisted the Iowa City Community School District in creating a district-wide innovation education pathway model for students by provided customized onsite professional development. By partnering with local businesses and industry experts, the Iowa City School District is able to provide every student education in innovation during their elementary, middle, and high school years.

William Turner Technical High School, Oct. 18 - 20, 2017

STEM Innovator® hosts an onsite professional development opportunity for Miami-Dade County Public Schools educators focused on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Training for Future Leaders of the Cruise Industry.”  Upon completion of the STEM Innovator® professional development, educators implemented the program with students who pitched innovative concepts to cruise line executives.
