The Jacobson Institute and the Iowa EdTech Collaborative, in partnership with University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, College of Education, Pearson, TechStars Iowa and MERGE, host a startup event engaging high school students and educators in a one-day, fast paced entrepreneurial excursion. Participants work in teams to solve problems they face using entrepreneurial solutions that drive innovation forward.  
High School Students and their Teachers into Entrepreneurship, Startup/Innovation, Engineering, Design, Hackers, Tech Gurus, Problem Finders & Solvers, Creatives, Gamers, 3D, Artists
Each teacher brings 3-4 students to MERGE, downtown Iowa City, for a day-long startup event. The teachers attending will be actively engaged and able to earn graduate credit for their participation.
